- Hide number plates of the vehicles on the road to avoid any issue.
- Remove any data that might identify the driver (e.g. license plate number)
- Avoid disclosing personal information about drivers in other cars or pedestrians on the street, as they have no idea their image has been captured and included in your video for distribution online.
- To be safe, it is best to blur out the faces of people who are not your subject and you didn’t get permission to show their face on your videos.
- The video should be edited before it is shared on the internet so that any personal information (e.g. license plate number) or faces of people other than the subject are blurred out. For social media, you can upload a short clip without audio to avoid copyright infringement if sharing through your own account as well as protect against identity.
- If you’re filming close to your house, it is better to avoid sharing the location data with people on the internet. You never know who is watching your videos.
